NTA (National Tour Association) to facilitate member industry relationships with TourConnect technology
TourConnect is pleased to announce an agreement with NTA (National Tour Association), the leading business-building association for professionals serving customers traveling to, from and within North America. The two organizations are creating an alliance that will help tour operators and travel agents connect more readily and efficiently with suppliers.
“TourConnect will help NTA members establish and grow partnerships year-round,” said Pam Inman, NTA president. “NTA operators and agents can access their suppliers’ product information and rates in a standardized format, and our supplier members can find buyers that are selling their destination. This is an exciting new partnership for NTA that will be valuable to our members and help increase their ROI.”
Leaders of NTA and TourConnect see the partnership as an excellent fit. As NTA members build relationships at Travel Exchange and through other NTA pathways, TourConnect facilitates those relationships by providing online access to rate information not available to the public.
“NTA has been helping its members build great business relationships for many years,” said TourConnect President & Founder, Michael Herrmann. “We’re excited to welcome NTA’s members into the TourConnect network. Our technology will help NTA members grow their existing relationships, find new business partners, and remain competitive in our ever-changing industry for years to come.”
Elaborating on the model, Mr. Herrmann explained that if a supplier and tour operator meet at Travel Exchange, they can link through TourConnect, and the operator can download rate and insurance information, along with product information and images, rather requesting that information via email.
